Circus Arts
Camp med-o-lark brings a little bit of the “big top” to maine every summer with our circus arts program. our brand new circus arts facility features the same extremely safe setup as real circuses allowing campers to “fly” on the same equipment as real acrobats and circus artists. our program features instruction in many thrilling circus acts including tumbling, trapeze, flying trapeze, double trapeze and more. Culinary Arts
Med-o-lark offers a scrumptious culinary arts program! There are several different culinary classes taught each session by renowned chefs including “healthy cooking”, “brick oven cooking” and a more generally themed culinary class that exposes campers to all sorts of different styles of cooking. all the classes have their own fully equipped, professional-caliber kitchens in which to work. Dance
Dance at Med-O-Lark includes a wide variety of styles with high-quality instruction designed specifically for campers of every skill level. Evening Activities
Every night at Med-O-Lark is special. Med-O-Lark takes great pride in the quality and variety of its unique Evening Programs. Each night, every Med-O-Lark camper is involved in an Evening Program either as a participant or as a spectator. Fine Arts
Med-O-Lark is home to one of the largest and most all encompassing Fine and Visual Arts programs at any summer camp. Arts at camp revolve around the Art Barn, located in the center of camp, and the many professional studios specifically designed and built for each art program. Performing Arts & Music
Dynamic and energetic performing arts programs make Med-O-Lark’s theater one of the busiest areas in camp. The highly professional productions that campers participate in create a ‘Broadway-like’ atmosphere that is electric. The heart of the theater program lies in the four major productions. Learn More!
Skate Park
Introducing a state of the art Terrain Park at Med-O-Lark! A spacious 50 x50 smooth surfaced platform is home to our newest Action Arts program. Built from the ground up, the skating surfaces of the elements are outfitted with Ramp Armor for a quality of ride that is both easy on the wheels and durable against the weather. Learn More!
Special Events
Med-O-Lark has a long standing tradition of treating campers to a day long celebration on the 4th of July. Among other activities, campers enjoy an authentic barbecue lunch and an elaborate fireworks display at dusk. At the end of each session, there are three full days of festivities for campers to enjoy and celebrate their Med-O-Lark experience. Learn More!
Sports
The Med-O-Lark Sports Program emphasizes teamwork and personal growth over competitiveness and all campers find a niche in which to grow as athletes and as members of a team. Regardless of accomplishment in any particular sport, Med-O-Larkers will always find athletic activities which challenge and reward them– we feel this is the biggest trophy a camper leaves camp with! Waterfront
From almost anywhere on the Med-O-Lark campus there is a view of Med-O-Lark’s beautiful, crystal clear, three mile lake. The lake is the heart of the camp’s extensive waterfront program. Med-O-Lark campers enjoy a pristine and quiet lake. Med-O-Lark has the good fortune of having nearly the entire lake to itself for its activities. Learn More!
