Dance Program

At any point during the summer, numerous Med-O-Lark campers are involved in the extremely popular dance program. Dance at Med-O-Lark includes a wide variety of styles with high-quality instruction designed specifically for campers of every skill level. The dance instructors are dedicated to teaching new skills and making every day fun. Experience is not a prerequisite in order to have an awesome time in a Med-O-Lark dance class. All campers are encouraged to improve their skills, but more importantly,
have fun dancing as a group with new friends. By the end of each class, and especially after a performance,
campers experience a great sense of accomplishment as each dance group has worked hard to choreograph and practice its routine. Dance levels range from beginner to advanced and classes are offered in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Step/Stomp, Swing, Ballroom, Salsa, Latin, Modern, Cheerleading and many other styles. Campers also have the ability to showcase their talents to the entire camp community at events such as the Talent Show, Sharing Night, and the special end of session Dance Show. The Med-O-Lark Dance
Program utilizes four indoor dance studios, an outdoor Dance Platform, and an indoor stage in the Coliseum
building for special performances.
